AI Anxiety Coach

This is a free AI anxiety coach you can use on this page. Tell it what you are anxious about, whether it is a thought that will not stop tonight, a conversation you are dreading or a party you want to skip, and it helps you settle first, then plan one small step. It is an AI, not a person. No sign-up.

I am an AI anxiety coach. Tell me what is going on right now: a worry that keeps looping, something coming up that you are dreading, a social situation, or a feeling in your body that will not settle. If your body is racing, we will slow that down first, then make a small plan for the thing itself.

An AI, not a person and not a licensed professional. If a symptom is new or severe, check with a doctor.

This is support, not therapy, and it is not a diagnosis. If you are in immediate danger call 911. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you are afraid of a partner, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788.

Want to keep going without a session limit? The Lovon app is the same approach, any hour.

Search for an anxiety coach and you mostly get directories of therapists and courses on how to become one. That is useful if you want to hire someone for months. This page is for the anxious hour itself: a chat on the page, with nothing to install.

It is an AI. It knows what you type into this conversation and nothing else. You do not need an account, and on this site the conversation is not saved to one. It disappears from this page when you close the tab.

1

What the chat does with your anxiety

It starts with your body if your body is loud. A racing heart and shallow breathing make every thought feel urgent, so one short grounding step comes first, and only one. The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise and breathing exercises for anxiety go further if you need more.

Then it separates what you know from what you are predicting. You know the meeting is at nine. You are predicting that you will freeze and everyone will notice. Anxiety presents the prediction as a fact. Side by side, it weighs less.

After that, a small plan for the thing you are dreading, and one step slightly harder than comfortable. Not the whole fear at once, just the next notch. Then what to avoid, and one question back.

2

Social anxiety

Social anxiety gets its own space here because it is so specific. The party where you will know one person. Speaking up in a meeting. Texting first. And afterwards, the replay of everything you said, for days.

It helps you plan the first two minutes, a line you could open with, a way to leave when you have had enough, and one small step you can actually take this time, like staying twenty minutes or asking one question. For a text you keep not sending, it writes it in your voice. If criticism or silence lands harder on you than it seems to on other people, the rejection sensitivity test looks at that directly.

3

Other situations people bring to it

A worry loop at night. The same three thoughts at 1 AM, getting louder. It helps you put the worry in one sentence, decide whether there is anything to do about it tonight, and park the rest until morning. If the loop is a habit, the overthinking test shows which kind it tends to be.

A conversation or event coming up. A review, a hard talk with family, a flight. It plans the before, the first sentence, and the after.

Anxiety about a relationship. A slow reply or a change in tone that your mind turns into the worst story. How to stop overthinking in a relationship goes deeper on that loop.

Avoidance that keeps growing. You skipped one thing, it felt better, and now the list of things you skip is longer. The chat helps you pick the smallest item on that list and plan a way back to it.

4

What it will not do

It will not diagnose an anxiety disorder, write you a treatment plan, or say anything about medication. Those belong with a doctor or a licensed therapist.

It will not reassure you on repeat. Hearing "it will be fine" calms you for a minute, then the question comes back, and asking again keeps the loop going. It helps you act on the worry instead.

It will not push you into anything you did not choose, and it will not promise the anxiety goes away. If anxiety is shaping where you go and what you do, or it is getting worse, talk to a doctor or a licensed therapist.

5

When it stops being an anxiety question

Anxiety can feel physical, and so can a medical emergency. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting, or symptoms that feel new or different, do not assume it is anxiety: call 911 or get medical care now. If a physical feeling of anxiety is new or severe, check with a doctor even if it passes. If you are having thoughts of hurting yourself, call or text 988.

This chat, like the Lovon app, is for adults 18 and over. If you are younger, take this to an adult you trust.

6

Text here, voice in the app

This page is a text chat that runs for about ten messages, which is enough for one worry or one event. The Lovon app takes the same approach by voice, which helps when the anxious part is saying something out loud: you can practice the first sentence before you say it to a person. It is an AI there too, not a person. If you want to keep going, get the Lovon app.

Ready for More Personalized Support?

Lovon is AI mental health support by voice — a private conversation whenever you need one, with no appointment. It is not therapy and not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can an AI help with anxiety?

It can help in the moment and with the practical side: slowing down when your body is racing, separating what you know from what you are predicting, and planning the next small step for the thing you are dreading. It cannot diagnose or treat an anxiety disorder, notice changes in you over months, or replace a doctor or therapist. If anxiety is getting in the way of work, sleep or leaving the house, take it to a professional.

Is this AI anxiety coach free?

Yes. The chat on this page is free to use, with no account, email or sign-up. A session runs about ten messages, which covers one worry or one event well. If you would rather talk it through out loud, or keep going past that, the Lovon app takes the same approach by voice.

Is it a real person?

No. It is an AI, not a person and not a licensed professional. Each reply is written by the AI from what you typed in this conversation, and it does not know you beyond that. For social anxiety, that can make it easier to start: there is nobody on the other side to impress or let down.

Can an AI coach help with social anxiety?

It can help you prepare for specific situations: a party, a meeting where you want to speak up, a text you keep not sending. It plans the first minutes, gives you words you could use, and suggests one step slightly past your comfort zone, so you build up gradually instead of all at once. If social anxiety keeps you from work, school or friendships, a licensed therapist who works with it is worth seeing.

What is the difference between an anxiety coach and a therapist?

A therapist is a licensed professional who can assess and treat anxiety disorders and work with you over time. An anxiety coach helps with the practical side: planning for situations, building small habits, sticking with a step you chose. This chat is coaching, from an AI. If your anxiety is severe, new, or getting worse, see a doctor or a licensed therapist.

How do I know if it is anxiety or something medical?

Sometimes you cannot tell from the inside, and neither can a chat. Chest pain, trouble breathing, fainting, or symptoms that feel new or different need medical help first: call 911 or get urgent care, and do not assume it is anxiety. If physical anxiety symptoms are new to you or severe, see a doctor even if they pass, so anything medical can be ruled out.

What happens to what I type here?

You do not need an account, email or sign-up. What you type goes to an AI so it can write the reply. On this site the conversation is not saved to an account, and it disappears from this page when you close the tab, so copy anything you want to keep. You can leave out names and any details that identify someone. The coach works the same without them.
