AI Confidence Coach

This is a free AI confidence coach for the moments it runs out: speaking up, saying no, asking someone out, a conversation you keep putting off. Tell it the situation, and it gives you two or three things you could actually say in your own voice, plus one small way to practice first. It is an AI, not a person, and there is no sign-up.

I am an AI confidence coach. Tell me the moment it runs out: the meeting, the person, the no you cannot get out, or the conversation you keep putting off. I will help you see what is making it hard, give you two or three things you could actually say, and one small way to practice first.

An AI, not a person. It writes words for you to say yourself, and it cannot talk to anyone for you.

This is support, not therapy, and it is not a diagnosis. If you are in immediate danger call 911. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you are afraid of a partner, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788.

Want to keep going without a session limit? The Lovon app is the same approach, any hour.

Most confidence advice is about how to feel: believe in yourself, fake it until you make it. This chat works on what to say and do in one specific moment. For most people confidence comes after doing the hard thing, not before, so the useful question is what you will say on Thursday.

It is an AI, not a person and not a licensed professional. It knows what you type here and nothing else, and it has only your side of any situation with another person. There is no account, and the conversation disappears from this page when you close the tab.

1

What the chat does with your situation

It asks three things: what the situation is, who is in it, and what you are afraid will happen. The last one matters most. "I freeze in meetings" sounds the same for someone afraid of sounding stupid and someone afraid of being talked over, and they need different words.

Then it tells you what is likely making it hard. Anything about what the other people think is labeled as a guess. After that come two or three short lines you could actually say, written to sound like you, without the padding that gives your nerves away: "sorry, this might be dumb", three reasons for one no, a question where you meant a statement.

Then what not to do, one small way to practice first, and one question back.

2

Situations people bring to it

Speaking up at work. An idea you sat on until someone else said it, a meeting where you go blank, asking for credit for your own work. It writes the first sentence, because that is the one that gets stuck.

Holding your ground with family. The comment at dinner, the parent who still decides for you, the sibling who always wins. It helps you find one calm line you can say twice without explaining.

Saying no, to a boss, a friend or your mother. For one no written out in full, how to say no politely goes further. If you say yes to almost everyone, the people pleaser test shows the pattern.

Dating confidence. Asking someone out, sending the first message, saying what you want instead of waiting to see what they want.

Comparing yourself. Friends' lives, a colleague's win, everyone on your feed. It does not tell you that you are better than them. It asks what the comparison is pointing at that you want for yourself. The insecurity test shows where it bites hardest.

Feeling not good enough. If it shows up across your life and not only in one room, the self-esteem check-in reads three sides of it, and the confidence test shows where your confidence holds and where it drops.

How you talk about your body. The photo you will not be in, what you avoid wearing or doing. It works on the words and the avoiding, not on your diet or your weight. The self-love meditation is a quieter place for the same thing.

3

What it will not do

It will not flatter you. "You are amazing" means little from something that has never met you, and it does not help on Thursday. It will not give you power poses, tricks to dominate a room, or lines meant to make someone else feel small.

It gives no diet, weight or appearance advice and makes no medical claims. It does not diagnose social anxiety or anything else. And it will not promise you will never feel nervous again. Nerves before a hard conversation are normal. The aim is to say the thing anyway.

4

When it stops being a confidence question

Sometimes the person you cannot stand up to is someone who scares you. If a partner or family member threatens you, controls you or has hurt you, more confidence is not the fix, and the chat will not write you a script to confront them. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. If you are in danger right now, call 911.

If you are skipping meals, making yourself sick or hurting your body because of how you see it, please talk to a doctor. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988.

This chat, like the Lovon app, is for adults 18 and over.

Text here, voice in the app

This page is a text chat of about ten messages, enough to prepare for one conversation. The Lovon app takes the same approach by voice, and that matters here, because saying the line out loud a few times is the practice. It is an AI there too, not a person. If you want to keep going, get the Lovon app.

Ready for More Personalized Support?

Lovon is AI mental health support by voice — a private conversation whenever you need one, with no appointment. It is not therapy and not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a confidence coach do?

A confidence coach helps you act in the situations where you usually hold back: speaking up, setting a limit, putting yourself forward. Most of the work is practical. You name the situation, prepare what to say, try it, and look at what actually happened. This chat does the preparing part, one situation at a time. It is an AI, not a certified coach.

Is this AI confidence coach free?

Yes. The chat on this page is free to use, with no account, email or sign-up. A session runs about ten messages, which is enough to prepare for one conversation. If you would rather practice out loud, or keep going past that, the Lovon app takes the same approach by voice.

Is it a real person?

No. It is an AI, not a person and not a licensed professional. Each reply is written by the AI from what you typed in this conversation. It does not know you or the people in your situation, so anything it says about what they think is a guess, and it will tell you so.

Can an AI help with self-esteem?

It can help with the everyday parts: noticing the line you say to yourself before you speak, preparing for a conversation you dread, finding words that do not apologize for you. Self-esteem tends to move when you see yourself do things, more than when someone tells you that you are worth it. What an AI cannot do is the slower work on where low self-worth came from. That is better done with a licensed therapist.

What is the difference between a confidence coach and a therapist?

Confidence coaching is not a licensed profession, and it works on the present: what to say, how to practice, the next step. A therapist is licensed to assess and treat conditions such as social anxiety or depression and can work with your history. If fear of people keeps you from work, school or friendships, or the nerves come with panic attacks, a licensed therapist is the better fit.

How do I speak up when my mind goes blank?

Prepare the first sentence, not the whole point. Write it down and say it out loud a few times before the meeting. Short openers like 'I want to add one thing' or 'Can I go back to the second point?' buy you a few seconds while the rest catches up. Speak early in the meeting, because waiting tends to make it harder. Afterward, look at what actually happened, not what you imagined people thought.

What happens to what I type here?

You do not need an account, email or sign-up. What you type goes to an AI so it can write the reply. On this site the conversation is not saved to an account, and it disappears from this page when you close the tab, so copy anything you want to keep. You can leave out names and any details that identify someone. The coaching works the same without them.
