They are into you
Main text (draft 300w, expand to 1000w)
Most of what you described matches someone who is genuinely interested. Consistent responsiveness, proactive contact, curiosity about your life, willingness to make plans, and presence when you are together are the four most reliable signs of real interest. They are not the only signs, and people show interest differently depending on culture, attachment style, and neurodivergence, but when several of them line up, you are usually not imagining it. The harder question is often not whether they like you, but what kind of relationship they want. Liking someone and being ready to commit to them are different things.
What to do next
If you have been waiting for certainty before saying anything, now is a good time. A direct, low-pressure question works: 'I have been enjoying this — I wanted to check in about where it's going for you.' Someone who is into you will usually respond with warmth, even if the answer is complicated. Someone who is not will deflect.
