Respect drained both ways

What this means
All three parts of respect show strain in your answers. Admiration has worn down into eye-rolling, harsh descriptions and "you always". You manage or correct your partner, decide for both of you, and may check up on them. And at the same time you swallow hurts, apologize to end fights and drop your own plans when their mood shifts.
That combination is common in relationships under long strain. Respect drains out in both directions at once: you look down on your partner and give way to them, control them in some areas and shrink in others. It often goes with a lot of unspoken resentment on both sides, and with arguments that never quite finish.
This is not a verdict on you or on the relationship, and a quiz cannot see the other person. It is a sign that the way the two of you behave toward each other has drifted a long way from respect, and that it is worth taking seriously now rather than later.
Before anything else
Two questions matter more than the rest. Are you afraid of your partner's reactions? And are you worried about your own, that the checking, correcting or contempt could become something that frightens them? If either answer is yes, safety comes before communication tips. In the US, the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 talks with people on both sides of that question, and you can text START to 88788. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911.
What to do next
Pick one direction to start with, not all three. For most people it is the resentment under the contempt: the thing you have not said. Say it once, calmly.
Stop any secret checking. It feeds the very cycle it is meant to protect you from.
Take back one small thing for yourself each week, a plan or a friend, so the shrinking does not deepen while you work on the rest.
Watch how you talk about your partner to friends for a week. Contempt often shows up there first, and noticing it is the first step to changing it.
