Thin with people: minds get in
Want to understand yourself more deeply?
Your result is a starting point: talking it through with Lovon, your AI relationship coach, is where it gets specific.
What this means
Of the three boundaries on this test, the one between you and other people runs thinnest. You open up fast. Someone you met an hour ago can know things your colleagues do not. You pick up other people's phrases, tone and ways of laughing without trying, and after a long talk with someone persuasive you can come away holding their view and only notice later that it was never yours.
This is not the same as having weak limits. You may say no perfectly well. What runs thin is the line around your sense of self: other people's views, styles and stories flow in easily, and you flow out to them just as easily.
Where it helps
People feel met by you quickly. You can get alongside almost anyone, which makes you good with strangers, children, clients and anyone who is nervous. You understand other points of view from the inside rather than from a distance, and that often makes you the person friends call when they need someone who gets it.
Where it costs
Fast closeness runs ahead of trust. You can tell someone a great deal before you know whether they will be careful with it, and the hangover from that, the "why did I tell them that", is a common sign of this result.
The other cost is quieter. After time with strong personalities, it can be hard to know what you think. Decisions made right after a long conversation may be partly someone else's. In a relationship, this can look like taking on a partner's tastes, friends and opinions so smoothly that a breakup leaves you unsure which of them were yours.
What to do next
Put a pause between the conversation and the decision. When something matters, sleep on it before you agree, and ask yourself what you thought before you talked to them.
Pace what you share on purpose. A simple rule helps: match what the other person shares, one step at a time, rather than going first and furthest.
Keep one thing that is only yours, a hobby, a friendship or an opinion you hold whoever is in the room, and notice when it starts to drift.
If your thin line is mostly about absorbing other people's moods and problems, the boundaries test looks at exactly that, and the people pleaser quiz looks at giving way to keep people happy. This result is about how easily other minds get in, which is a different thing.
When you want to sort out what you think from what you heard, Lovon is there to talk it through.
